The Irish Derby winner who sired 66 litters in Ireland between February 1975 and March 1976. The son of Silver Hope was in Australia before the first offspring hit the track. They included Balliniska Band (Englis Derby/RE 500m White City), Linacre (Edinburgh Cup/Derby consolation), Valiant Band (Bass Stakes), Rathdaniel Irene (Corn Cuchulainn), Minorcas Rosey (Barry Memorial), Ballyard Band, Colonel Perloma (Crayford Vase/Northern Flat, Ceili Band, Adamstown Sonny etc. Also among the daughters were Micklem Drive (dam of Whisper Wishes) and Queene Tiye (dam of Little Shoe).

Lively Band died on his return flight from Australia. While there he threw the New South Wales Derby winner Tegimi. Looking just one further step back on the top line, sire Silver Hope was av winner of the 1967 English Cesarewiths for Paddy Keane, as well as being a litter brother to the great Yanka Boy and sire of the double English Deby winner Patricia´s Hope.
