"Westy" was not the fastest dog that Wayne Strong´s ever handled. He contested a couple of good finals, including the 1971 Raynham Derby. He was by My Friend Lou who won 67 races, broke a Clover leaf track record and was voted onto the first All American team. My Friend Lou was top American sire in 1971 and 1972 and was in the top five for five consecutive years.
